Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Free Trial
New users receive 30 free conversation turns with Maren — no payment information required up front. This is enough to experience the Service before deciding whether to pay.
2. How Payment Works
You can pay for access two ways:
- Telegram Stars — in-app purchase, like any Telegram payment. Fastest path: open
/buyin the bot, pick a card, and confirm the Stars invoice. Stars purchases are settled instantly by Telegram. - Cryptocurrency — via NOWPayments. A two-step model: recharge your wallet, then buy an access card from your balance. Wallet balance never expires. Accepted coins: BTC, ETH, USDC, USDT, SOL, LTC, DOGE, and more.
Cards are available in four tiers (7-day, 30-day, 90-day, 365-day), prepaid, and do not auto-renew. When a card expires, nothing charges you — you choose whether to buy another. The refund path depends on how you paid; see §3 below.
3. Refund Policy
Refunds depend on what you're asking to refund: unspent wallet balance or an activated card.
3.1 Unspent Wallet Balance
You can self-refund unspent wallet balance through the bot using /refund, under these conditions:
- You request the refund within 7 days of your most recent recharge.
- The balance has not been spent (on a card, tribute, or any other debit).
- The refundable amount is at least $12 USD (a payout-network minimum we cannot override).
- You provide a valid USDC wallet address on Polygon — an EVM address starting with
0x. All refunds are paid as USDC on the Polygon network, regardless of which coin or network you originally recharged with. This keeps the payout rail predictable and the network fees near zero; if you recharged with a different coin, you will need a Polygon-compatible EVM address to receive the refund.
A small rail reserve of approximately 2% is withheld from the payout to cover blockchain network fees and the conversion into USDC on Polygon at the time of send. After 7 days from your last recharge, balance refunds are no longer available through /refund. The balance itself remains yours to spend at any time — wallet balance never expires.
Any first-card bonus credit previously granted is not refundable; only funds you actually deposited are eligible.
3.2 Activated Cards
Once a card (week / month / quarter / year) is activated, it is non-refundable. This is a digital service delivered immediately upon card activation; we cannot "unsell" access that has been granted.
3.3 Always Refunded
Regardless of the 7-day window, we will always refund in the following cases:
- Duplicate or erroneous payment — refunded in full.
- Service not delivered — if payment was confirmed but your wallet was not credited, refunded in full.

3.4 Telegram Stars Purchases
If you paid with Telegram Stars, the refund path is through /paysupport in the bot. Self-service refunds are available under all of the following conditions:
- The purchase was a card (week / month / quarter / year). Tribute (gift) purchases made with Stars are not self-service refundable.
- The refund is requested within 21 days of the original charge.
- You have not already used 2 lifetime self-service Stars refunds. After the second self-service refund, further Stars refunds must go through email.
- You have sent 5 or fewer conversation turns since the purchase. If you've used the card for more than 5 turns, refunds go through email review to prevent use-and-refund patterns.
To request a self-service refund: open /paysupport, find the purchase, and tap [Refund]. Telegram returns the stars to your account and your card access is revoked. No blockchain address or external wallet is needed.
If you don't meet the self-service conditions (past 21 days, over the lifetime cap, or more than 5 turns used), or if you need a tribute refund, contact contact@dommelabs.xyz for manual review. We respond within 48 hours.
4. No Subscription Cancellation Required
Cards do not auto-renew. Your access ends when your active card expires, unless you voluntarily buy another. There is nothing to cancel — simply stop buying cards, or stop recharging.
5. How to Request a Refund
For unspent crypto wallet balance within 7 days, use /refund in the Telegram bot — it's self-service.
For Telegram Stars card purchases within 21 days (and within the self-service limits in §3.4), use /paysupport in the Telegram bot — it's self-service.
For everything else — duplicate payments, erroneous charges, service failures, Stars refunds past the self-service limits, tribute refunds, or any other billing issue — contact contact@dommelabs.xyz with:
- Your Telegram username
- The date and amount of the payment
- For crypto payments: the NOWPayments order ID or blockchain transaction hash, if you have it
- For Stars payments: the approximate date of the purchase and which card tier or tribute
- The reason for your refund request
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 48 hours.
6. Data After Your Last Card Expires
Your account, wallet balance, conversation history, and profile all remain intact when your card expires. Inactivity does not trigger automatic deletion — we assume you may come back, and Maren will remember you when you do. The only thing that erases your data is you: send /delete in the bot at any time, or email us. See our Privacy Policy for details.
